Kelvin Loran Pater

Kelvin Pater is a New York City based set & film designer with a strong believe in the creative collaborative process.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, he graduated from the Theatre Technical Arts program at the Amsterdam University
of the Arts in 2015, starting a career as light designer/ installation artist.
Realizing how light sculptures the world around us, he shifted his focus to creating spaces that allow light to react.
Resulting into the completion of his MFA in Design for Stage & Film at NYU – Tisch School of the Arts.

Next to his ongoing commitments as the Prop Artisan for the Second Avenue Theater Company in NYC,
recent theater credits include: Broken April (Columbia Stages), Sunset Park (Theaterlab NYC) & Beauty of the Father (NYU).
