Katie Touart

Katie Touart is a recent Yale School of Drama MFA in Costume Design, where her credits include “Native Son” (Yale Rep) “Othello”, “Some Bodies Travel” and “Fucking A”. Cabaret Satellite Series credits include “Do All Daddies Have Grey Suits” and “The Silent Sex”. Katie was thrilled to continue working with children with 2017’s “Dwight Edgewood Project”. A designer/teaching artist from Washington, DC with over sixteen years of experience, Katie’s credits include the 2016 Helen Hayes Award winning production of “Wiley and the Hairy Man” at Imagination Stage, “The Shipment” (Forum Theatre), “Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra” (Step Afrika!) Rumplestiltskin, “Peter Pan and Wendy” (2014 Helen Hayes Nomination) and “Aladdin’s Luck” (2012 Helen Hayes Nomination) at Imagination Stage, “Five Little Monkeys” and “Winnie the Pooh” at Adventure Theatre MTC. Katie holds a BA from the University of Chicago and a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art.
